Here is our hotel, the Pacific Business Center Hotel. The first 10 floors are meeting rooms and convention rooms, businesses, corporations, etc. The lobby of the hotel is on the 11th floor. We're on the 13th floor. Our room has a balcony that looks out over Tiger Mountain and Taipei 101. David found the hotel after several days of searching online. We took a risk on it because none of our Taiwan IA friends had ever stayed here. It is AMAZING. It is lush, rich, beautiful deep wood tones, and probably the nicest place we could have ever hoped for. They have an amazing breakfast every morning, there are orchids everywhere, real plants in the rooms, the staff speak perfect English and there is security 24/7 at the entry since the first 10 floors are businesses. If anyone who is adopting from Taiwan wants to email me offline about any other details, just ask me on either our Adopting Taiwan or ChungYi Parents groups. I HIGHLY recommend it.

Traffic waiting for the light. It's a free for all here, traffic wise. It's awesome and scary and fascinating to watch. There are almost 7 million people in Taipei, and I think most of them are driving scooters.
