Pulling into the Hsiang Shang Social Welfare Foundation. This is just one "nursery" in this district for children waiting for forever families. I think our visit was scheduled around a time when the other children would be engaged in some indoor activity where we would not interfere with them or their routine.
This inside courtyard is the children's outdoor play area. Alma's happy face (the social worker from Chung Yi) is in the bottom left. It seemed like a very peaceful setting.
As we were walking into the compound, Alma told us there she is, there she is!!!!! So I started snapping pictures. I don't think they were ready for us, or didn't want us to see her in that outfit because as soon as we intersected them and had the initial greeting, they whisked her away and whisked us in another direction. Once we saw her again a few minutes later, she was in a different outfit.
