Preparing for a Kiwi Festival. 7/7/2012

Mommy and Olivia waiting for a local mall to open up. They don't open until 11am on Saturday. And sheeeesh was it hot today !!! Like "seven inches from the sun" hot. 7/7/2012

Olivia had a blast at this inside kid's playground. Before they let the child and parent in, they take your temperature and disinfect your hands with spray. But hey, if they do this for every kid, then the likelihood of getting each others cooties is greatly reduced. Can you imagine them doing this at a Chuck E Cheese or some playground in the US ?? Parents would freak out and say "what??? My kid can't come in because his nose is running and he has a fever? I'm outraged !!!" LOL. But here, it is totally expected and I think it's great. It was kind of funny though, when the girl went to put the electronic thermometer up against Olivia's forehead, Olivia jumped back about a foot. As we figured out quick when we were here in 2008, the US could learn a lot from Taiwan. 7/7/2012
